So long as Palestinians, whether supporters of Hamas or the supposedly more 'moderate' Fatah Party that runs the corrupt Palestinian Authority, still believe that their national identity is inextricably linked to a war on the Jews and Zionism, all the Trumpian optimism in the world won’t matter. This conflict is far from over.
Interfaith cooperation is the new religion of the modern age. It promises peace, mutual understanding, and unity across all faiths. Yet beneath that soft language lies a dangerous assumption: that all worship is equal, that all prayers reach the same destination, and that doctrine is secondary to goodwill.
In a stunning act of defiance, Rev. Dawn of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ontario, Canada, has publicly declared that she refuses to read or acknowledge Jesus' Great Commission for fears it will be used to justify colonization, racism, and the subjugation of non-Christian peoples.
The persecution of Christians in China is hardly new. But we are witnessing something different now: persecution morphing. It is more technologically invasive, more strategic, more suffocating--and far more dangerous to the underground church than ever before.
When everyone's chasing the same thing, danger isn't far behind. The markets have become a mirror of our herd instincts-moving not by wisdom or discernment, but by imitation. When it comes to looking ahead, a mere 23% of students expressed optimism for the future -- in both the U.S. and the world as a whole. Barely half -- 51% -- were hopeful for their own futures, and only 49% believe they can make a difference in the world.
Instead of celebrating the end of violence after the Trump agreement, many of these groups either ignored the ceasefire or rejected it outright. In cities across the West, protests resumed within hours, this time denouncing the peace deal itself and changing their chants to "From the river to the sea" and "Death to the IDF."
Trump has already boasted how this plan is not just about Gaza, but the start of something for the whole Middle East. This is just the first phase and clearly there are plans to bring about something bigger in the future. For students of Bible prophecy, all eyes are on what happens next as we see parallels to what scripture has already foretold.
With profound implications for counselors, clergy, and families nationwide, the stakes are high. If your not paying attention to this case you need to be.
